Should I Help This Guy Out?

So I'm selling a couple items over on FeeBay, and a guy sends me this message:

hello I was looking at your products only interests me in part what you have !! I have a m16 caliber 223 was looking for barrel complete
Grammar is way off, but it didn't peg my BS meter, I've seen worse. I replied:

Have you tried Brownells or MidwayUSA?
    His reply:

but will not send and here and hard to find only on order and must spend at least two months .... same goes for gun vz 58 sold out!!!if you help me I do not have money problems can pay your disorder
So now the BS meter went into the red. Then I looked at his location: RC, Italy

My reply to that last one was:

Contact this guy, I'm pretty sure he can help you out. He and another guy named Leland Yee were working together to help out people in your situation.

I'm waiting for his reply and will update y'all if it ever comes.

I had a similar situation with some dude who claimed he was in France. He wanted some Glock barrels.

Sounds like a Craigslist scam, but if its not I wonder what the shipping charges would be ,--> I think a deal breaker?

Does sound like a scam. When I was doing a lot in car audio I did have a guy in Italy contact me and sold him an amp.

He paid the extra shipping and it was about 2 months before he got it.

                  That's funny!

Just a few months ago I get a call from a female with a heavy African accent claiming she's from collection service authorized by IRS. My father supposed to owe back taxes and he'll go to jail if not paid right away. So I told her I'm the son of the wanted man and she demanded mine and father's social sec # and full names. I told her, "You're the IRS and you don't have that info"? I get a long pause and a ahhhh... If you don't give me all that info you'll go to jail. So I told her I'll give the information only if she'll do one thing. She said OK what is it? I told her kiss my @$$.

I'd be more worried about ITAR.

Even if they're real paying customers allowed to buy this stuff back home; itar treaty. We cant sell outside the US even if they can buy the same stuff local legally.

Yup, I'm well aware of ITAR. I'm not about to go to Federal PMITA prison for exporting a gun part.

Gubment. Ours that is. Trying to get you to export something. Before the magazine kit ban I had some listed online. Dude emailed asking about "M-16 clips" I told him I had no such thing. In another email he mentioned "machine gun" parts. I said "have a nice day officer" & that I have nothing for sale or posses nothing that's illegal. Also mentioned I would not violate "spirit" of the law either. LE is all over the net & I'm not the foil typa guy.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!
