I will never understand how people pay so much for certain guns.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

$240 isn't all that much in the world of airsoft. Especially for one of those boutique 8mm guns. A good, name brand main rifle will set you back $250-$300 easily and a good sidearm is in the neighborhood of $100 or more. Even the Chinese stuff is 150-200 for a decent rifle.

I was interested in it as a teenager but never really got into the sport because it was too expensive for me and my friends to buy that stuff. We just bought the Walmart version and played in the back yard, which was plenty of fun, but all the fields and organized matches expect you to shell out for the real deal.

That is true. My airsoft Tavor cost my $300. My camo vest and pants cost $100. And my sig p226 x-five cost $100. Very expensive sport.

Yeah no kidding, and now that I'm old enough to play... I'm too old to play.

Well, not too old, but too busy. Now we've all got other things to do, college and work and girlfriends all that other grown up stuff that siphons time and money away from hobbies.

Nah you aren't too old to play. I feel like a poser every single time I go against them, but I've played with quite a few air force and army guys who are super into airsoft as well.
