gun show in san jose today

some guns , some parts etc and , powders, primers and a decent array of ammo. some brands and cals lower than walmart prices and miwal and redline had decent prices on their factory new and reloded stuff.miwal had one type 9mm reloads for 85 bucks per 500. saw armscor 22 mag for 11 bucks but it was snatched up while i was lookin at it. saw a couple tables selling a few boxes of cc1 stinger for 10 bucks a box. miwal had winchester lead free 30-30 for under 30 bucks. saw a good amount of differnt 500 or more boxes of 22 starting at 50 bucks it looked like. miwal had federal automatch for26 bucks which at walmart is 16 but it isnt there much.what surprised me was to see miwal selling/people were buying it, winchester m22 selling 500 rounds boxes for $56.95 plus tax while i bought this same ammo last week at walmart for under $51 bucks before tax for the 1000 rounds. the salami and jerky folks were there and with great tastin stuff for sure so i spent some monet there ,lol. also picked up 50 rounds of 32-20 from loadx for 30 dollars

gw, it depended on what you wanted. 3 friends from here in salinas also went and they all found stuff and i think all 4 of us got salamis and jerky, lol. i know one of em got powder primers and some cartridge boxes. one of em got some cci stingers as they work best for his 22. one of em got ammo for his 223 wssm as in 18 months miwal is the only place hes been able to find it. i got 32-20 from loadx and also 500 rounds of 223 from miwal at a price i was happy with. and i also got to see how lucky i am that ive been an evil hoarder as i watched alot of folks payin to me goofy prices for 22. but i understand paying for what you cant find .

Same here. It's not worth the $50 in gas and hour of driving just to look at a bunch of overpriced stuff that I want but can't/shouldn't buy. Especially when it's just a bunch of Nagants and AR lowers.

I miss the days when I was a kid going to gun shows with my dad and grandpa, getting to see all the interesting antique and oddball guns and listen to the old timers tell stories. Now it's just cheap Chinese tacticool crap sold by some dork with a greasy ponytail and more paracord on his person than is on most parachutes.

I thought it would be more about beef jerky and salami then in years past. Apparently, I would not have been disappointed if I had attended.
                Sorry, not sorry.
