    Federally, you're fine. Check with his state law though.

      Since when do we have to go from FFL to FFL? I was under the impression that we could ship direct to an FFL provided the FFL allows it as a matter of policy.

        Absolutely. Just make sure the address to which you're sending it shows up as the FFL's address on the BATF's FFL E-Z-Chek website (so you're not tricked into sending it to a nonlicensed person).

        I know now here in CA we have to go from FFL to FFL.
        Absolutely untrue. You are free to ship guns to a CA FFL from within CA.
