No and hell no. -
Generally not worth it unless you can get in for free.Comment

I try and volunteer for the calguns booth, get in free and buy some ammo. Then spend the remainder of the day talking to people about Calguns. Surprisingly enough, some people seem to think a credit card is required to sign up...
Good deals can be had by showing up super early and talking to people, I go straight for the old guys with a jumbled and unorganized table.Comment

Not worth it unless.... okay....Nothing worth going. I went to check for dies and powders....saw a used RCBS .223 die for 40 bux. I just came from SW and saw dies there for 34, brand new.
I didnt see good deals either. Good to go and support though...that's about it.Originally posted by GottmitunsIt's not protecting the rights of the 1%, it's IMPOSING new laws because of the 1%.Comment

Cal expo show is smaller than it used to be by about 50%, yet still charges the same to get in. I usually don't bother these days.Originally posted by GoodEyeSniperMy neighbors think I'm a construction worker named Bruce.
Little do they know that's just my stripper outfit and name.Originally posted by ChopperXI am currently cleaning it and I noticed when I squeeze the snake this white paste like substance comes out. After attending 5-6 of these shows, from 2002-2005 I realized it was a waste of time. After parking and the entry fee, not worth it. Especially that you can find better deals on line. Only show I even think about going to is the Reno show and it has been 6 years since I went to that show.If you can't shoot good, at least look good shootingComment

If you could, right up front there is a guy that sells ammo cans. Could you write down the prices for the various sizes and post that? That's about the only thing I can see being better priced at the show than online. Shipping is pretty expensive for cans...TIAComment

Let's see. 14 bucks to get in. 10 bucks to park. That's that's 38 bucks for me and the wife just to get through the door to go and look at overpriced items that include toys and beef jerkey. I'll pass! Don't get me wrong. I've been going to Crossroads since the mid 80s. I just feel the quality of the shows have not kept up with the ticket prices. Buying on line is what I do most. For those when haven't been to a gun show, you must check it out at least once.Last edited by Southpaw45; 01-18-2015, 11:33 AM.Cowboy Action Shooter
