Any use cheap ebay electronic ear muffs?

I'm interested in buying some electronic ear muffs but can't justify spending too much at this moment so I was wondering if anyone has ever bought the cheap ones off ebay for $20-30.

Any thing good or bad about them and their sound amplification and sound reduction capabilities?

I have something similar and I can't recall if I bought it from Midway or Sportsman's Guide. Or just buy from Harbor Freight.

ETA - It does work for me, sound reduction I believe is same as Peltor.

I got mine form harbour freight. I havent had any problems. You can hear pretty well normally then when the decibles hit it shuts the sound off. Works well. I have no complaints.
