    Clip question

Are 30 round clips fitted with a limiter legal or do they need to be pinned in place?

    1) I am pretty sure you are referring to a MAGAZINE, not a CLIP.
    2) the penal code calls for permanence. What is permanent within the law? Nobody knows.
The PC does not define it, there is no case law regarding it and the DOJ won't comment on it.
It has been debated here ENDLESSLY already. Search the debates and decide for yourself.
With that said 10 people will probably reply anyways and tell you what method they use or give you their jail house attorney interpretation of the penal code.

That looks like a fine example of a 30 round "Clip".

There is no law against possessing, manufacturing, selling or buying, a 30 round "Clip."

However, just to keep our "not-so-bright" colleagues out of jail, we should keep in mind that if that "Clip" were to morph into a "Magazine" or otherwise had some "feeding" capability, then its sale, purchase, importation, or manufacture would be a felony under PC 32310.

Make the terminology correction, answer the question, we're done here.
