    G 42 Vrs M&P 380

Right now Pro Force has Glock 42's for $320 and M&P .380 Bodyguards W/laser for $325.

Opinions.?? I know as LEO,s we get the good prices. I have shot the Glock 42 . It was great handling and accurate.

Never fired or handled the M&P bodyguard 380

    Anyone???

I'm in the same boat as you currently. Cannot decide, however I really do like the 42. Going to watch this thread, hopefully you get a reply...

I held both, and jumped on the g42. Have yet to try the bodyguard. I own mostly m&p's. And this is my first and only glock. Haven't looked back. Now if s&w made the frame on the bodyguard true to size with the slide. That would be one helluva slick pocket 380. Slide looks super tiny and frame looks slightly larger. Have fun.

Lots of video reviews & comparisons on both guns on YouTube.

I've owned a Bodyguard .380 with no safety (LAPD model) and a Glock 42. IMO, two entirely different guns with the size, feel, trigger control, etc. I'd watch some vids to get a better idea of what each has to offer, and then go in and decide for yourself which one will be better suited for your needs.

The G42 is very accurate. I spent an hour at the range running ammo through mine just to test its reliability with some Winchester ammo I bought. Accuracy was ok.

Then I tried 6+1 rounds of Critical Defense a buddy wanted me to try. I got this group from 7y.

Hate the trigger on the M&P 380. Sold it after 150 rounds. Glock 42 is my main off duty weapon now.

I really don't get the .380 for a bug/off duty gun, when there are so many 9mm the same size.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.
