So I ordered Magpul lower parts kit on Christmas for $180, super excited about the kit. Last week I emailed them asking on the status because I knew they'd be backordered because of Christmas, never got an email back. So today I called them, was on hold for 20min then finally someone answered. Gave him all my information and he says that they are out of stock on that lower parts kit and the website must have been screwed up. I asked when is it going to be back in stock he didn't have a clue then offered to give me my money back so I went with that option. I then asked him if anyone was going to tell me that they were out of stock or were they just going to hold onto my money and not tell me anything. All he had to say was he didn't know what happened. Not dealing with them again.

PSA is notorious for bad communication but great at fixing the problem. Go figure.

I ordered an upper from them last summer and they sent me a completely different, more expensive one by accident. I called them to let them know and they said I could keep it.

PSA has been hard to communicate with in the past. I ordered an upper (also during peak demand) it took forever to get here. Lots of wrong information about where my parts actually were. It just showed up one day. About a month and 3 weeks beyond the due date.

But when I finally was able to get ahold of someone, they did their best to make it right. I think they gave me a heavy discount on my next order.

Plenty of threads about PSA around here. You just need to look. Known for huge sales, good prices & poor communication. If you're in a hurry, never order from PSA & gripe about not having ammo for your trip -for example- Get it elsewhere. If you can wait, PSA is a good vendor. Recently placed a fairly large order & cancelled it, I don't usually do that, but opted for more .308 for a trip. That lagging came in handy. I've learned to like the place...

I ordered a complete rifle kit from them the Saturday before Christmas. It showed up last friday. They may take a while but you really can't beat their prices. I've been more than happy with all the kits I've gotten from them.

You placed an order for an item that went out of stock before the system updated. It happens. Since it usually takes them a week or so before they even ship your order, and that's not considering holiday lead times that can be 2-3 weeks before things ship, there's a pretty good chance that they hadn't gotten to your order yet. In that case they wouldn't have known to contact you about the problem. Once you brought it to their attention they did what they could to make it right. I'll be ordering from them again soon.
