Trust no one............No such thing as an unloaded firearm where handling disipline is concerned.

A loaded gun in the display case?, and the store employee not opening and checking every gun before handing the gun to the customer. Totally incompetent gun handling. Hope the store owner has lots of insurance, he is going to need it. Unbelievable!!! The other customers should never go back to that place. Must have scared the hell out of them when they found out what happened.

Who cares if you get handed a gun that is "supposed" to be unloaded. Treat EVERY firearm as it were loaded. I've been handed guns with live rounds before, and never once do I fail to:

                    1) Point the gun where it's not going to kill someone.
                    2) Drop the freaking mag.
                    3) Pull the slide, check the chamber.

THREE simple rules and you will never ever pump a round into your leg, finger, foot ever. Scouts honor. Heck, yesterday I was at a friend's Vapor shop and he handed me a loaded Hi-Point 45 (never saw one before, so I was interested in holding it). The gun even had one in the chamber!
