The "ghost gun" episode was beyond stupid. Do criminals not realize you can swap out the barrel in those "hot guns" to throw off the ballistics records?

Your talking about what's called a "burner" Gun used at a crime scene. Extractor marks are also considered in forensics, so are firing pin marks. Provided of course, casing(s) are left behind. "Ghost gun" by definition is a joke,spun up to cause fear and the creator of it needs to be tried alongside yee.
The title of the episode was ghost guns, not burner guns, get off your pompous horse.
I didn't say completely change the ballistics, but rather hinder the ability to trace.Comment
