I saw a bro get out of his bro dozer to beat a homeless guys *** for saying something to him at a stoplight. Homeless guy stuck his hand in his jacket like he had a gun and pointed at 'roid ragin' bro. Bro that was twice his size did an about face got back in his truck and hightailed it outta there. It was funny to watch!

I would use that tactic if that's all I had. Just sayin'.

          Stupid idea.
Open Carriers almost never get targeted, that is FUD spread by the internet. Lots of people OC in free states (outside of the bigger and more liberal cities obviously) and none of them has been 'taken out first'.

With that said, having a fake OC weapon is ridiculous, no debate here.

            Respectfully disagree.
Walmart shooting and any number of people shot holding a fake gun. Just Goggle fake gun shooting.

Looks like something I'd consider as part of a Halloween costume if it wasn't illegal. Other than that, no.

Same protection as Luke Skywalker's lightsaber purchased from ToysRus, with the addition advantage of possible attacks by some gangbanger who wants a free gun and/or getting shot by the police if you so much as try to scratch an itch in the vicinity of family jewels.

A bad, bad idea in my opinion. The threat of lethal force without the reality of lethal force will get you sued, jailed, dead, or any combination of the three in the least desirable order.
