AR pistol stiff hammer spring (help please)

I'm not sure if I have the section to post this question in so please move if necessary.

Story, I milled out an 80% lower some time last year and just began to put it together into an SSE pistol. Picked up a PSA lpk and Geissele trigger. Everything went in smoothly except the hammer pin. I think I may have milled it a little more narrow internally than optimal.

It took me a while to put the hammer pin into the lower, my hands simultaneously shoving a punch in one side while trying to shove the pin in the other. It finally worked however there seems to be some sort of binding causing the trigger to have a bit of a stiffer pull. The hammer actually requires more force to push down by manually by hand as well.

I haven't shot it yet but I'm wondering if this will cause any problems or if there is a workaround? (possibly using smaller pins?)

I can't go back to the shop to re-mill it because of the ATF letter but I'm looking for some ideas. Your help is appreciated.

Sounds like your trigger pin holes are not aligned or are bit too small. I would take the 5/32 drill bit and go back and forth through both holes at the same time. See if that helps with the binding.

I had the same problem with the safety holes. That method worked for me.

i run into this every time the radius of my 8mm endmill doesnt leave enough clearance for the little tubes on the sides of the hammer to rotate freely so i have to pull out the dremmel and clean those areas a bit

It's not the end of the world if your trigger pin holes become wider. You can always use anti walk pins.

That's what I was thinking, but I've read that Bill recommends against using KNS pins with his triggers. But if it works better and makes my trigger feel less like a glock, I'll be happy.
