    Magguts support

Has anybody tried contacting Magguts for support lately? The only way to contact them is via email, and so far both rounds of email requests have gone unanswered. Anyone had any success contacting them, or know of a phone # to call?

While I'm here, anybody else run Gold Dots through their Bodyguard 380 with Magguts? The bullet jams up on the feed ramp when using the slide release, but feeds fine when pulling the slide back and releasing. Any insight on why this may be?

possible bullet length issue? I had the same happen on a 1911 due to the bullets being to long.

The bullet length is fine. Already had S&W replace the barrel due to a previous problem with incorrect chamber length. The issue doesn't exist with stock mags, only with Magguts and only when dropping the slide with the lever.

I just watched the video on the magguts website and could see several places where there could be problems with the design. the angle of the follower could be one of the problems. I know my own match guns wouldn't strip a bullet off one of those followers due to the angle. by pulling back the slide you are giving the bullet more room to level out and seat properly. have you tried firing the gun with the magguts and if so does the next round seat properly or does the slide not release?

I don't have a lot of experience with pocket guns but i have worked on a lot of CZs and raceguns. with such a drastic angle change from the follower i can't imagine many guns that wouldn't have a problem loading the first round out of the magazine.
sorry i couldn't be of more help to ya and hopefully the company gets back to you.
