    FFL in Lancaster/Palmdale for OLL?

    Getting my coworker into OLLs.

Anyone know of an FFL in the Lancaster/Palmdale area that are willing to accept
OLL transfers? I already checked the CA Fee Schedule sticky to no avail.

    Thanks.

Gun shop on sierra isn't OLL friendly last time I checked. They'll sell the sealed magwells but that's about it.

There's high desert storm on Avenue Q in palmdale....I would have to call them.

And sante fe guns which doesn't, but the guy that runs that shop is a jerk.

Closest shop would be in Santa Clarita, oaktree gun club, they're OLL friendly from what I hear.
    To women and gunpowder!

But I love the smell of both....

      Short answer, Nope

      I have checked them all

Santa Fe Guns... NO OLL I had the misfortune to deal with the little troll that runs the place. Even if he did I would not go there

The Gun shop on sierra does not. Nice enough folks but no OLL

High dessert storm..no OLL and the price of a dealer transfer is kind of high. IIRC it would come out to around 150. This is from a conversation I overheard from a salesman to a customer. I did not ask

"The rosamond store" I cannot remember the name of the store but it is run out of a hardware store. They had a OLL AR in the store but when I asked they said they were not too comfortable with them. so YMMV

Personally I use the stores in simi valley. kind of a drive but dependable and I can get a good pastrami at "The Hat" but that is just me.

        Try Custer Arms & Antiquities

I don't remember what their number or location is...but I know they work out of lancaster/palmdale area. They did a lot of FFL stuff for a person I know. They are good folk, but I am not sure if they will deal with OLL's. Its worth a try though...

EDIT: I found this when I googled them...

Santa Fe guns is a joke, I was in there the other day, the guy had a Yugo SKS with the launcher sites and gas shut off valve, Claiming it to be a genuine russian. it was extremely terrible condition and he was asking $650, I almost said " you know Big 5 four miles down the street has an SKS that is twice as nice for $399.00, but why bother. That guy is a wiener. As for the question, the name of the store in rosamond, which is about 15 minutes north of Lanc/Palm is Karls Hardware/661-256-3985, they sell OLL's, extremely overpriced but they sell them. I got quoted a DoubleStar stripped lower for i think it was 265.00 before dros and tax. They I think are the only ones that locally you have achance with. The Gun Store, great guys, but they are not even close to being OLL friendy, and high desert storm once again, nice guys but that guy was saying he wont even touch an SKS?!? go figure, but Big 5... ahh whatever. Ive worked with Raphael from Get a Gun/661-978-6450 in Bakersfield which is about an hour and 15 min north of Lanc/Palm. He only charges I believe $10 for transfer, plus the standard $25 dros. all the other locals around here charge between 50-75 plus dros. He also has great prices, 170 Out The Door for stripped stag 15 or double star lower and he is very flexible with time schedules as he does it out of his house.
