      My experiences with Turners have been crap, so I started going to places further south. I help run a shop down in Huntington Beach now.

        Turners signal hill... insight shooting range has a small selection of firearms for sale. Good thing bout insight is that you can come in during your ten day waiting period and shoot your gun at the range.

        My opinion is to avoid ammo bros in cerritos...

              Well they treated my gf like crap...she said they made her feel like an idiot when she went in asking questions.

              When I've gone in one of the employees was acting like I was bothering him when I asked questions. We no longer give them our money.

                  Another +1 for Signal Hill Turners, although they don't do FFL xfers anymore.

                  I'll give a +1 to Ammo Bros too. They recently recomended me to one of their competitors when they weren't going to be able to get me a gun before it fell off the roster. The guy at Ammo Bros did a little research and found someone with it in stock. The price was the same, but A/B would have charged me an FFL xfer fee. They'll get that lost fee back from me and then some in future sales.

                      im going to check them out today.
                      Does buying from a pawnbroker mean its a PPT. what im getting at is if I'm waiting on a new purchase now will I be able to buy from their this month

                      both would be handgun purchases.

                        New purchase. 1 in 30 applies.

                          Short answer...No. You might be able to "buy" it if they will agree to hold it for you until the end of your 30 days.

                          Not entirely correct. Yes, the new gun purchace is affected by the 1 in 30, but you can still purchase as many handguns as you want by PPT during that 30 days. The 1 in 30 law applies to handgun purchases from an FFL's inventory. It doesn't matter if it's new or used. That's why a purchase from a pawnbroker is affected by 1 in 30.
                          So...
                          New gun = 1 in 30
                          Used gun from FFL inventory (ex: from a pawnbroker) = 1 in 30
                          Return from pawn/gunsmith, etc = no 1 in 30
                          PPT = no 1 in 30
