Problem with Turner's Outdoorsman - Need Help

After seeing a used marlin rifle for sale at Turner's West Covina, on Turner's website, I went to my local Reseda store on09/18 and did the paperwork to purchase the gun and have it transferred to Reseda. I paid my deposit and was told that since it was a used gun, it was subject to a 30 day hold. They wrote on the paperwork to come back on 10-17. So off I went.

Prior to going to Turner's, I called to make sure the gun was in. They apparently sent a Winchester Model 94 instead of my Marlin 60ssk. They said to come back on November 4th (as this was apparently the **earliest** the shipment would come in) and do the DROS and wait another 10 days.

Is there anything I can do or am I just at the mercy of Turner's? I am unsure if I can go in there and do the DROS today and demand that they ship (they said they receive shipments each week) it by my 10-day wait period.

    Thanks!

How about a drive to Turners Covina or wherever the rifle is and do the DROS there. Then ask to have it shipped to Reseda for pick up. That'll get you started on the dros faster and give you a chance to inspect the rifle.

After driving to W. Covina, write a nice letter of your Turner's experience and mail it to their presidente.

Isn't the DROS only good for 30 days or something like that? So one'd have to pick it up at the 30th day pending expiration. I think Turners should foot the bill for a re-DROS since it's their fault and give you a coupon at least for your troubles.

IMO if you really want it, drive out to where its at, put down the 25% deposit, after the hold date drive back out and pay the balance and start the DROS, then after DROS drive out and pick it up.
