For a time, I kept a gun in my trunk. I had someone bust a window in my car though, and since then have taken it out to prevent theft.

I figured if someone attacked me and I had no gun, I'd quick drive to a 7-11, purchase a towel, lighter, and bottle of whiskey, and Molotov Coctail his ***.

I have targets and such just because I'm too lazy to clean out my trunk.

I only own a motorcycle at the moment, but in the past I had a Mosin under the seat of my truck/trunk of my car. Since I moved to San Jose, and have had multiple cars broken into, I sold my 4 wheeled vehicles and have only used my motorcycle to commute to work on. The wife has a minivan but our neighborhood is more or less safe. I want to carry on my work truck but I don't trust my co workers enough to do so. It'd be gone as soon as I turn my back.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

It is not uncommon to find targets/target stand and some spent cases in my truck. I don't keep a firearm in it, but the other stuff usually stays.

My truck has been broken into too many times to keep a gun in there. There are targets under the center console though.
