If you're going to get an HP why not spend a few more $$$ and make it a Browning? They're not all that expensive, I just bought a like new 1974 BHP at the Gun Vault for $599.00 and am getting rid of a 70's target model there tomorrow.

Whenever I've bought my 2nd choice I've never been happy with it, ended up getting rid of it an spending more $$$ to get my 1st choice.

You don't own a centerfire semi-auto rifle of any sort, and only one semi-auto handgun? Of the choices listed I'd say go for the CZ-75, but frankly I think you should get an AK or AR.

I'm going to agree that now is the time to get an AK - seems more suited to your collection than an AR.

The next would be a shotgun - you need to shoot some clays. Buy a defensive gun and a field (28") barrel.

After that would be the HP or CZ.

You have a good # of lever guns and revolvers. The ones you listed will be available forever.

You need a good hand gun.
I voted for the BHP, but spend the money and get a real BHP, not Charles Daily.
If you really can't afford the BHP then get the CZ 75. Just my $0.02

Looks like the vote is in, a AK style rifle is needed for your collection

                    Rifle:

M1A --- Spend as much as you can afford.

                    Shotgun:

                    Benelli M1S90 Tactical

                    Optional:

I've recently seen a few Beretta M1 7.62x51 bare receivers that would be CA legal since they don't read 'BM-59' anywhere on them. Elsewhere, I've occasionally seen excellent BM-59 parts kits with demilled receivers. You can get a custom Bird's Eye Maple stock for it from a few sources even if they had to cut it special for you. Find the mags for this rifle inside an old lost Indian cave out in Joshua Tree Natl. Monument. That would be my story, and stick to it. A rifle such as this would be the pimpingest CA legal 7.62 rifle you could possibly have that would not attract CA-DOJ attention.

I would liquidate some firearms off of your collection especially if they don't have any sentimental value. If you cheap on a budget go with the saiga. But remember AlohaRover has deals going on right now on AR-15 kits, where you can get a doublestar rifle for $5XX

Definitely get a good handgun, your sort of lacking in that department also.

Just remember is better to have quality than quantity.
