I have both the 1911 and the Beretta. They fit well and are good feeling narrow grips. The rails are solid and work great.

I have one, it adds a decent amount of thickness to the overall size of the grip, and the ridges on the front are pretty nice. I use a laser and snap caps to check my trigger pull, and bought this because my 1911 didn't have a rail and ended up liking the feel of the grip. I don't have a lot of single stack pistols so it does give me more consistency between handguns, although I did have to modify it slightly for my ambi-safety.

I have one. I took it off shortly after I SSE'ed a railed 1911. I also have the surefire mr07 mount, but I don't like that mount at all. Not very many mounting systems either for 1911s

It fits perfect, no rattle. I bet you could stipple it. I don't feel it made it too thick like the guy above said? Still Felt slim to me.

I'm right handed. On the right hand side there was a sharp edge that I took a file too and sanded down so it didn't did into my trigger finger. Can barley tell its modified.

Basically if you can get over your 1911 looking a little cheesy tacticool it works just as it was meant to do. Hold a light. And it does it well.

If your ever in the Orange county area ide gladly give you mine as I have no need for it. Been sitting in my tool box for a few months.

I received and installed it on my Colt Combat Commander. Perfect and solid. My Son came over today and tried the rail light on it. He put it on his Springfield 1911, he liked it as much as I did, so I will be ordering another for me lol. He loves his new Recover Tactical grips. It ships from LA. Tip for ffl holders that have an account with Brownells, save a few bucks.

As it turns out, the folks at recover has decided to make a holster that will lock the gun in with a mounted light. The holster will not work for this model of grips so to fix that problem, you buy the holster, they send it and new grips and you send the old grips back. You can't beat that.

$50 bucks and free shipping is too expensive for decent grips that also give you a solid light rail?

                        Hello Calguns

Thanks for the support from this forum!
We have released our new 1911 Universal Accessory Fit holster that we feel is huge a leap forward in holster technology.

Our pistol accessories include non SBR/NFA Pistol Conversion Kits, Picatinny Rail Adapters, Charging Handles, Holsters for Sig, 1911, Glock, S&W, P80, and more.

                        • Patent pending Frame Locking System - Available in Active or Passive Retention (details below)
                        • Maintains natural draw while still allowing virtually any accessory to be mounted
                        • Holster will only work with the ReCover Tactical 1911 CC3 H Grip and Rail System installed
                        • Active push button retention that encourages proper finger placement that will work with or without the accessory attached
                        • Compatible with virtually all rail mounted accessories

                        • Same holster is compatible with virtually any rail mounted accessory on the market

                        • The Active Retention will lock with or without an accessory mounted to the rail

The holster is available with either Passive Retention or Active Retention - What is the difference between Active and Passive Retention? Active Retention requires the pressing of the button on the side of the holster to "unlock" the gun from the holster. Passive Retention holds the gun in place and will allow you to draw the firearm simply by pulling with a little extra force. Will work on Commander and Full Sized 1911's that have the ReCover CC3H mounted.

                        More info here -
