I wouldn't trade a gun for any front site membership.

If FrontSight says something is worth 25k, and you can get it from someone for $100 or less, than that tells you all you need to know about how goofy their marketing is.

The training there is very good but the non-stop huckstering is annoying.
Unless they will trade you A LOT of memberships for the weapon IF you need a bunch for your family, say a $50-100 per membership trade value?

Marketing is annoying, but you can opt-out.

Use the search function above, there is a LARGE FrontSight thread here and CalGuns, suggest you skim over it and ask your questions there.

A realistic value for a membership is $200-250. Sometimes they can be obtained for cheaper but i've also seen them go for $500. If you like training and would use it i'd consider a partial trade with a value on the low end ($200 max). FS is nice so it just depends if you'd go and use it. I like FrontSight and make it out there once a year.

I have some available and all i can say is that for a couple hundred the value is absolutely incredible. We have a great time and the facilities are top notch. Marketing sucks but who cares. Go shoot!

$25,000 cost for $50 tells you that something is seriously fishy. I'm looking for a multi-day handgun shooting course.... But, I'd rather pay a straight forward company than need to work through all the 'nuances' of Front Sight. The website alone is a turn off; make a freaking table comparing the different plans - rather then line after line of 'all this, an XYZ value, for only ABC'. No thanks.
