Mag loader

For California AR-15 owners, the StripLULA is a better choice. It loads 10 rounds at a time, works with or without stripper clips and is very compact.

Or a wife who also loves to shoot AR-15s.
You'll be the one loading the magazines while she blasts away happily. Ask me how I know....700 rounds a weekend, it would have been (more) painful without the StripLULA.Comment

Try loading Colt 32rd 9mm or STEN mags to capacity with your fingers and you will beg for a loader. 10 rounds per mag is pretty easy but if I had to load 20 10 round mags in one sitting I would want a speed loader.
Then there is this pile of mags and belts. It would take me days to load this with just my fingers and this is just for an impromptu desert outing.

My 3 favorite loaders. AR15 Maglula Colt SMG Maglula STEN loader

I started off with the speed loader the OP has but dumped it in favor of the Maglula. It is so much better. Lining up the rounds in the loader is a pain as they tip over easily. It only hold 20 rounds (which is actually a plus since any more capacity will just make the bullets tip over more often) so you need to use it twice. The force needed to load those 20 rounds is enough to break a Beta mag feed tower if you load it and a round gets caught in the loader, which they do often.

How the hell do you have over 7000 posts and you barely discovered a mag loader? WTF did you do for all those posts lol?Unless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. Cammenga makes great products and their efforts at manufacturing multiple versions of the compass have yielded results that are as good as it gets. i have no history with their loaders because i've been happy with maglula loaders that have worked well for me.Comment

I have one of those. Never really needed/wanted one due to ca 10rnd law, but I saw a guy at the gun show last year demonstrating it and I was sold after I tested it. Me and a few buddies bought one since he said more we buy cash bigger discount he'd give. Works perfect since even thought I barley use it ha.Wow got one yesterday and this thing rocks! If using in CA, just load all 30 and do 3 mags.
Only other mag loader I've felt like is absolutely worth every penny is the maglula for 30 rnd colt 9mm ar magsLast edited by xxINKxx; 01-04-2015, 1:20 PM."If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." - Thomas JeffersonComment
