i don't think that list is accurate

one issue is, many gun owners view some firearms as ok to own and use while vilifying other firearms too..."you can have your .38 to protect yourself, but, you don't need a AR15 with a 30 round clip"...just listen to guy like Charles Barkley, claims to have a gun in every vehicle he owns, then goes on to say nobody needs to own an AK or AR... and he's a self professed "gun guy"

that mentality does exist in the firearms community

even the staunchest anti-gunner will tell you how they aren't against the 2nd Amendment, they just want to be able to regulate it into the stone age

my wife's brother isn't anti-gun, he's just afraid of them...i make it my business to pull out my AR or a few of my handguns every time he drops by, always under the guise of showing him a new accessory or polish job, just to make an attempt to help him get over it

i invite him to the range, but, it'll probably never happen...one, he lives too far away, don't see him much, and, two, when he does drop by its usually for 10-15 minutes then he has to get going, always in a hurry

Jennifer Lawrence (star of Hunger Games)
          Bruce Willis
          Tracy Marrow (Ice-T)
          James Earl Jones
          Randy Couture

Add to the list as you come across them.
          Bet it gets quite large.

That is the perception, but not the history of the ACLU. Paul Kengor does a good job in his book "The Communist" of telling their history beginning with several Southern black youths accused of a murder. Spoiler, it wasn't the ACLU that got the kids off.

Most of them should not own guns in the first place.

                If the list is legitimate:

It'd be nice if the actors were denied parts in any movies where guns are used.

If any of those on the list have a CCW, their permit was immediately revoked.

They are served with restraining orders that prohibit them from being in the company of anyone in possession of a firearm.

Some? A lot - and that list must be old, because Spaulding Gray has been dead since 2004. Killed himself by intentional drowning.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

In all honesty I feel for them. Selena , John Lennon, Sharron Tate and more make you think about the ultimate price of fame. They live in a world where twisting reality is what they do.
And consequently they have become so twisted they only see the gun. They have no ability to see the reality is it is violent humans at fault. It could be knives , cars , or baseball bats, fists , teeth ect these violent humans will act violently. We don't fault the car for killing, we blame the drunk driver.

I'll be one to say I work in the industry, and there's alot more people who are pro A2 and guns than most people on here would like to believe. Actor-wise it's probably as expected with margins that are probably a tiny bit off. Crew wise it's more out there a lot more people own and talk about guns. My friend that got me into guns I met on a crew. But there's always those who are "bike-curious" about guns. Some shy and some are not. I have a female co worker that never knew I was into something so "manly" (her words)lol I know I've taken a few co workers to the range and everyone has fun.

I've met and worked with a few of those actors named, hell if I got payed that much I'd still use a gun for film whether I was pro or anti myself. You'd be a fool if you would turn down that kind of money. But what I'll say is there's also been a huge surge of actors and people from other countries and areas where it is common and acceptable to hunt or use firearms.

Plus we as people Change our minds all the time. Im never surprised when I turn someone who's never shot a gun before into thinking of getting thir first.

Many on that list are totally irrelevant and have not done anything in years. Except attend D list functions on cable TV. If that......
