    Should I hold off on.........

    Purchasing a firearm until we know how the new process is going to be as far for certification for buying a firearm or should I do it before the 1st. I just don't know if there will be any delays with the doj or something like that. Thank you.

          No delays expected. If you buy a long gun before the first you will be required to get the FSC before pickup if you aren't exempt.
