CGers ripping on others for 10/30s rant

It's sort of tiring how many holier-than-thou folks on Calguns immediately rail on people for what they just assume is a purely aesthetic choice for using 10/30s.

Ever been to a carbine course or a competition? There aren't really any 10 round magazine pouches. If you want to be able use industry-standard gear you need magazines sized to fit that gear.

Even if people do have such magazines solely because they like the look, so what? Why are there so many that are so vocally judgemental? Are they also judgemental of different colored rifle furniture? No one needs an Olive Drab stock, but perhaps it looks cooler. Why the hate?

I don't get why wanting a visually appealing gun is considered such a bad thing, so long as it isn't built for looks only and no function. If I'm buying a stock, od or fde works just as well as black so what's the problem? 10/30s or 10/20s feed bullets as well as stubby 10s and look better (usually).

Now mall ninjas with crap all over that is useless, at least rag on those guys.

I personally like the way their meant to look w/30 rd, 10/30 mags, but makes no sense in this **** up politically charged an polarized tard state.

That's the thing about opinions... everyone has them.

One would think being in Calguns... as members we ought to support each other but there are a lot of hot heads here, braver than thou, righteous than most, longer and better ____ than others, fancy this, fancy that, my training is better than yours, etc...

In the end, the libs, demon-crats, and anti-gun retards like it that we tear each other apart: Divide and conquer.

It's good we agree to disagree but we've got bigger fights to face. No need for us to be kumba-ya... just be cool people. In the end, it's all of us 2A supporters in the trenches that must and need to stand together if we want what's sacred in the US Constitution.

Who cares what the other person has, let's just be grateful that at the very least they have a firearm. The ability to defend one's self is being armed and ready.

So who cares if the person has a 10/20, 10/30, 10/40 whatever... better some than none.

I don't care what others think. What I do care about is how others act, and from what I've seen the 'others' that have some sort of issue with blocked mags have been less than classy with their responses to posts about said magazines. It's not the opinion that's frustrating, it's the cocky attitude.

And to answer about what I use, generally I use 10 rounders at the range because they're much easier to fit more into a range bag, but at a course, I use nothing but 10/30s because that's what fits my gear.

I've had ARs that have trouble feeding from the 10rd pmags so I iss 10/30s. I also have a bunch of FDE 10/30s and my AR is black so flame away. I couldn't care less about what someone else thinks of what I do with my guns.

I like factory 10 rounders best because most 10/30's I've tried either only hold 9 or won't go in on a closed bolt loaded to 10, and when shooting on an improvised rest ( usually my backpack ) the 10/30's can get in the way

Other than that no problem with 10/30's or the people that use them

Agreed. My AR is FDE solely because I like the look. Has no bearing on its function at the range.
