Unhappily a new safe owner

Just had my new Cannon Scout safe delivered yesterday, so why am I not happy? well, for starters I purchased the safe 3 months ago from US Safe at Costco in Chula Vista. I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks max for delivery😡. I assumed It was a safe purchase knowing I bought it at Costco so wasn't too worried but it had been longer than 3 weeks. I had to call the company 5x to finally discover that my safe was going to be late after waiting a month for a call from the seller. To top it off my safe shows up with no handles on it WTF! The delivery guy had to give me some old ones.

They did end up dropping off my new handles later that night after a call to the big boss

If you haven't already done so, you might consider contacting Costco and letting them know about the delay. I don't believe this is the way Costco does business and they would probably want to know about it.

Costco is on their vendors. Neighbor of mine is a Costco Vendor and he is VERY careful with how he conducts business with Costco customers. Not that he treats his other customers differently but he does pull a fair amount of his business from Costco members and when the company speaks he listens.

That sucks that the service was so bad. But at least you have your safe now, and hopefully you are happy with it.
Let Costco know your unhappy with the service provided and enjoy your safe. Don't let what you can't change about this issue bog you down with negative thoughts.
But I will recommend, when you get your next safe, forget the fancy electronic lock and get an old fashion dial lock. They are much harder to defeat.

Sorry for your hassle, but that's a nice safe. I especially like the internal outlets, handy.
I have one, love it. Battling the wife for a second. Odd woman, doesn't mind how many guns I buy but doesn't want to sacrifice a few feet of additional space for her horse stuff.

When I saw the title of your thread,I thought you bought a safe because you had guns stolen.

Situation could be far worse.Safe is best peace of mind I ever bought.I do need a second larger one though.

No he didn't. New safe new handles. His are used.
