      Yes,Yes.

      I've only ever sold 1 gun,which I regret.

And other than inheriting some old firearms, I've never bought a used one for some reason, not even one with only 50 rounds down the pipe, like new or BNIB, just seems cheaper/easier to buy new, even if it cost a buck or two more.

I still have every firearm I've purchased. My rule is never sell a gun. I have given a rifle and a pistol to my nephews with the rule being they never sell it. If they need cash, I will lend it to them. One nephew still has his rifle and hunts with it regularly. The other sold the pistol to a friend who used it to murder his pregnant mistress. His friend was a cop too.

The first gun I bought was a PWA AR-15 that I got while stationed in Idaho. When I got orders to PCS back to California in late '89, I checked with the LA County Sheriff's Office to see if I could legally bring the AR back to California. I was told it wasn't legal, so I sold it and bought a Colt Delta Elite 10mm. I ended up buying a Colt AR-15A2 HBAR when I got back to California. That lesson in FUD cost me some money.

That Delta Elite was my first handgun. I traded it for a Browning Hi Power. Cheaper ammo and better ergonomics made that a favorite. I wish I had kept that Delta Elite though.

My first shotgun was a Remington 870. I just bought that a couple of years ago and sold it last year. I had no real emotional attachment to that gun. I'm not really into shotguns.

Made promise to my self never to sell any of my guns. Fortunately I've been able to keep that promise. So I still have my first handgun and rifle. A 6 inch blue Colt Python and a brown stocked Remington Nylon 66.

Marlin Model 60 from Target in Omaha on Saddlecreek (closed) for $54 when I was a kid. My dad had to buy it for me. Still in the safe. Still shoots lights out. Woot Woot.

Yep, Ruger M77 mark ii 30.06. Actually it was a christmas gift at 16. I have only got rid of one and it was actually a trade straight across, G27 for a G36. Best trade I ever made.
