A couple months ago I sent my new G23-Gen4 to these guys for a slide cut to mount my red dot, full stippling job, trigger guard undercut, coating and new extended mag release. I checked on the gun a few weeks later and was told the work was done and it would be shipping soon. What I was not clear on was that it still needed to be QC'd etc, and shipping would take a little while.
So I after about 10 days I got my dander up and started to give them a hard time, basically being a jerk - I wanted my gun back!
Well, the bottom line is this - I did get my gun soon thereafter, and except for one phone call that made me think their CS guy was being difficult, their CS really was outstanding. I was just not an outstanding customer. (I'm from Jersey originally - friends say it explains a lot!)
Most importantly the work performed on my 23 is OUTSTANDING. Got right down to the range, zeroed the red dot in and its shooting like a dream.
To Gerry, Brandon and the rest of the crew at GW - sorry again, and thanks for the great quality work....your friend from Sacra....er' Jersey
