need some help. i installed my magpul prs stock on a cmmg lower. everything is screwed down tight but it seems i have a small gap between stock and lower receiver which is annoying me. The gap is only a mm or two but it's enough to where i can see through it.
here's the thing. i didn't have a spare a2 tube laying around, btw, i think it lame that the magpul doesnt' come with tube and springs. so, i ended using the top tube of this stock below:
which from my guess is an A2 tube. but i could be wrong.
any thoughts? the only way i can think to close this gap is to file down the a2 tube on the butt end by the amount of my gap. another option would be to order a new a2 tube just in case the one i'm using is the wrong one but i would hate to spend money if i didn't need to. oh, here's a question. is the A2 tube plastic or aluminum? the one i'm using is aluminum.
