What is it you find misleading about it? How is it not the item you actually get?

ANY Thompson you get today, unless it's NFA, is going to be different than the one pictured on the right.

Because the one pictured on the right is an open-bolt machine gun.

The new Thompsons are very similar, but they have a totally different internal design to allow for closed-bolt semi-auto fire.

I don't consider it misleading or false advertising. It's as much of a Thompson as you can get without getting a machinegun.

i'm talking about the barrel length

and how lame thompsons look with that

that they have to show a sbr

they have a price pointing to that gun and when you get one it has a different lenght barrel

even car companies have to say what aditional options are shown in the car commercials

but i see that they are selling the pistol again

They sell the gun in the photo.

                  So no, it's not. Period.

                    I wrote a disclaimer:

"The full-auto SBR pictured above is for demonstrative purposes only. You must know that you can't legally acquire on of these without filling out a bunch of forms and sending money to the federal government. Or, if you live in states like California, you also have to get even more permits, and these permits are only issued to people who have lots of money, or are politically connected, or work in the motion picture industry. So don't even ask us to send you one of these. Unless you are law enforcement or the military, then there's some more exceptions. But we aren't making the FA versions anymore anyways. We aren't even the same company that used to make them. We just bought the name."

But they don't sell the gun in the photo for the price listed. the SBRs are $2000+, and the description lists the semi-auto deluxe at significantly less than that.

i'm glad some see it my way

the one pictured with a price attached is the sbr model
(i'm fairly sure that it is not full auto as it doesn't have the second switch and they dont have any available for transfer at least not at the price listed in the ad)

Well, now that I zoomed in on the price I have to agree with you. The one shown is a SBR and cost for that one is more.
I have the one with the longer barrel and its not to bad as it has the pistol grip forearm. Yes if I could have a choice between the two I would like the shorter barreled one better.
