Ive heard horrid reviews on it. Half the people say that it burns up batteries, the other half say it arrives dead on arrival. Mine is not dead and the battery stays cold so I may have lucked out, or those people don't know what there doing.
Here is my unbiased review of it. I will update as I learn more.
The controls are vastly complicated compared to most others (on/off) not that it bothers me. Unfortunately, optical chronys don't work with led lighting so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow morning to see if it works well or not.
I like that its compatible with a standard camera tripod.
They could've labeled the photo-sensor side with the start/stop as well though.
The unit is 95% plastic, though it is quite lightweight which is nice since I usually carry 4 rifles + ammo to the range.
Far too big to carry in a standard range bag but I think I'm going to attach a strap to it so i can carry it over my shoulder.
