    Eotech Canted Retical Unacceptable

Eotech claims to produce a precision instrument in their Red Dot systems thus one would expect no defect such as the obvious canted reticle.
I found my AR Rail to be perfectly level and I have mounted several scopes on the rifle with the scope retical exhibiting balance/centering. The canting of Eotech reticle is much emphasized with the Eotech G33 magnifier. Contact with Eotech hasn't been much help. I'm considering utilizing a SHIM to see if I can get the retical adjusted level. Has anyone experiencing this Retical Cant problem come up with a fix? I also have the Aimpoint ComM4S and I prefer it to the Eotech Retical defect.

If it is defective why not just send it in for a fix or replacement?

They make quality products so I would imagine that they would want to fix this for you.

Are you saying they're all canted? Or yours specifically?

Obama ended the gun control debate when he decided to arm the Syrian rebels with fully automatic machine guns and rocket launchers. He proved people need guns to protect themselves from tyranny. Did he give the rebels background checks before giving them real assault weapons?

I think a further more concise description of the complaint is in order. A bit vague about problem.

How can you "cant" a dot?

Never heard of it. A picture or crude drawing may help us understand what you're talking about.

EOTech doesn't make red dot sights. They do however make holographic sights. Perhaps you got a counterfeit.

EOTECH would pay for you you ship it to them.
If it was defective, or damaged in any way, they would fix/replace it.

I've personally dealt with EOTECH on repairs and other concerns more than once....top notch customer service.

Maybe the mount is a piece of crap ??
Is it an EOTECH mount ??

OP....your story is lacking details and specifics.

I own a second hand eotech xps3-0. It's well past the the warranty. The reticle did not go bright at all. Cranked up I could barley see it durring the day even with new battery's.

Contacted them via the repair form off the website with the serial # ect and they emailed me about 45 mins later with an RO # to put on the box and said to send it in with a copy of the form.

2 weeks later they sent me my optic back repaired. I noticed they upgraded the battery cap, new battery, even threw in a different style screw to lock it down.

Onky thing I was out was like $10 to ship it.

Seems a common problem, don't think it's a troll. Google.

Your receiver or rail is out of spec.

I got some used EOTechs used the other day at a great price, 8 total. I put them on multiple A3 uppers and all the sights
