You sure you want a hard case for the range? More often than not, it's overkill. Something like a Pelican case is bulky and heavy. A soft double rifle case is a lot easier to manage and probably a lot cheaper.
For a hard case to hold 2 rifles and 4 pistols, you're probably looking at something like this...well above your budget.
Holds Multiple M4 Rifles (Up to 2) Holds up to 19 standard & pmag (30-rd) magazines Holds up to 6 pistols with 12 extra magazines Max length of pistols is 8 5/8" Not intended for revolvers or snub nose pistols Max length of rifle is 32 7/8" Max width of buttstock is 1.75" Fits both standard carbines & mid length rifles that have a 16" barrel with collapsible stock (rail up to 13.5" long) Allows for a forward (vertical) grip, laser or flashlight mounted directly under the rail (within 1.5" in diameter & within 5" tall) Accommodates all major scopes & optics within a 3" height Compact design leaves no wasted space 2 Hydro absorbent silica gel canisters included to prevent rust Foam insert is (closed cell) military grade polyethylene which can be wiped clean"Kestryll I wanna lick your doughnut."

You can get a nice double rifle case and a range bag for your handguns for under $300. Look at Uncle Mikes.Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison

These are really nice for the price. The foam is that pluck-n-pull style that allows you to fully customize it. Could work for a single rifle and 3 or 4 pistols. Overkill for your intended use but again, a solid case.
Otherwise for $25 each you could get 2 or 3 of those cheap Plano cases. Work fine for to and from but they are too flimsy for rough handling.

A pick n' pluck pistol pack? LOL! (Psych).
For your intended use, a hard shell case may be a bit overkill. Also, it becomes harder to stow a hard shell case at the range. Weight also becomes an issue. Put 4 or 5 pistols and two rifles and you're talking some serious weight as well as bulk. Even if it has wheels, you have to make sure your path to and from the range is all concrete and it will be easy to wheel past any obstacles.
I had put all of my pistols in my range bag and it just made it way too heavy to lug around (me and the wife hit the range). So, it included eyes, ears mags etc. I wound up breaking the pistols down into two smaller soft cases and put the rest of the gear in a separate range bag. Ammo also was separate.
Hope you find something that works out for you.
Happy shooting and be safe.

I use the cheaper hard cases for going to the range. For travel I have several higher dollar Al cases.
I do not see a hard case as overkill at all. I do not want my firearms to be beat up on the drive. The hard cases protect the scopes(and rifle/pistol) better than a soft case. I haul mine in the back of my P/U. I have 6 double and 3 single rifle plastic cases I use for rifles and a number of hard pistol cases plus factory ones.
I also have a collection of soft rifle and pistol cases. On the odd day I take my car I do use the soft case since I will only have 14 firearms to shoot and no chrono equipment.
So depending on what you are hauling in the case and what you are driving both types have their place. Only you can decide.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
