Point me in the right direction.

Looking to get rid of a shotgun.....Yes I posted it here first, but no one was interested. Other half wants it gone for reasons Id rather not explain. Any dealers in the LA or North Orange County area pay a fair price for a good gun?

Seems like they offer about 20% of fair value so far. I'm not looking for a ton a money, I just don't want to give the gun away. I think its a good piece..

    Any help would be appriciated

It might help to know what you were trying to sell, it looks like you deleted the text from your ad.

I deleted the sale ad. Put it up twice over the past few months but never got any questions or interest at all.
Its a Browning A5 light 20g. Made in Belgium, so its the older model.

          try GunBroker.com

its like the Ebay of guns.

          GunsAmerica.com also.

PS-I'm guessing dealers are offering 50% of what is worth, not 20%, just because they would be too greedy to let it walk at 40%.

Ill check it out. They were offering way less than 50%. I had a guy look it over in July. He said it was at 80% and the value was around 900 or better.
Couple dealers lately were offering in the 200 range. I wasn't expecting to get 900 at all, but 200 seems like a screw job.

Gunbroker or keep it. You never know when it might be needed.

Id love to keep it pimp....but the ol lady wants this one gone. Story behind that, but I wish I could keep it. I think its a great SG....I was surprised that no one wanted it here. Its in really good condition for a 1959 that's had a few rounds through it. The Older Brownings are great guns imo...

But maybe Im just getting old and its not as popular as I assumed it would be.

People probably wanted it, just not at the price you had in mind. You'll have to find someone who is looking for that particular SG, so your best bet is indeed one of the auction sites.

If you were selling a beat up old Glock, on the other hand, you'd probably get quite a few offers. No idea why or how people decide to pay top dollar for such common guns and used to boot...

Maybe you're right...Im not sure. I posted for 650 and expected 600. I didn't think that was a heavy price....I actually thought that was priced to go quick.

People love Glocks...I don't get it either. I don't have an issue with the Glock, I just don't know why the demand for something with such a heavy supply is there.
