If you want bushmaster quality you need to by a Windham Arms AR.

Quality headed down hill once they got acquired by Cerberus Capital Management and got consolidated into the Freedom Group Inc.

I agree, after I bought this Bushmaster 308 I seen that Bushmaster was sold and The previous owner open in Windham Maine. I'm going to buy a Ar in 223 and I think Windham Arms might be the one .anyway my 308 is in the hands of the Bushmaster techs now will see how long that is going to take .

I purchased my first AR in October, a Windham SRC 5.56, and it has been absolutely flawless in function with about 500 rounds thru it. Fit and Finish were very good out of the box and I would not hesitate to buy another rifle from them.

Hey, how come this guy buys similar AR and cell phone as I do?
I bought my first AR, a Windham Weaponry MPC CA this year and I use a Nokia Lumia 920.

Back on topic: I've never owned a Bushmaster before but from what the Military Arms Channel on Youtube says, Windham Weaponry is the old Bushmaster people. The quality of their AR is very good. I've put over a thousand round through mine now, on one weekend, both wife and I put over 700 rounds through ours and it never had a hiccup.

Best of all, the gun is full featured (eg. with dust cover and forward assist) cost around $700 it came with sling, hard case box and even a chamber flag. Very good deal.

Had major qc issues on a Sendero I bought last January. Disappointing, considering that's kind of their flagship.

Yea. Mine was shooting 6" at 100 yards. Turned out the bolt was garbage. Only about 25% of ONE of the lugs was even touching the receiver. Sent it back, they returned it a few weeks later, and I traded it without even shooting it. Was too frustrated with the dang thing.
