    2 IDs for a Rifle?

I recently bought a gun at Action Guns in Rancho Cordova really good LGS(5/5) haha anyways lets get to the the point.. I need 2 source of ID proving my CA Residence but I have no government issued documents other than my SS and DL. I talked to the owner or one of the staff and he insisted that I get a Generic Lease Agreement so then I went ahead and printed out a Generic Lease Agreement from the DCA filled it out and got a signature from the home owner but would it work has anyone does this before I would like to go to Action Guns to check it out but pretty busy with work so I will ask here first and cross my fingers when I pick up the gun next week before X-mas Eve. Thanks in Advance!

For a Rifle or shotgun you only need your (for instance) California Drivers License.

A second proof of residence is required for a handgun purchase. For instance, your car registration that has the same address as your Drivers License.

So FUD on that Gun Store.....

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

has that changed at all since the long gun registration stuff in 2014?Can't remember.
I've had to do the 2nd ID for long guns before but that was because my address on my DL wasn't correct. That was years ago though. IF DL is correct, then the 2nd ID thing is CA only. So I wouldn't be surprised if its now required for long guns since they are registered.

The lease agreement will work. My then girlfriend had to do that with me as the landlord. Now we are married and I put her name on some of the utilities.

There are quite a few gun stores that are requiring this now from what I've seen. I'm from the bay area, but went down to SGV, and there was two out of three places that I saw this at. In the bay area, there's a few places that I've purchased long guns from or processed a PPT at, and required two forms for a long gun.
