    Gun Show, OC vs. Ontario

So I need a few things that I'm itching to get. The crossroads gun show will be in Ontario 1/3 and 4 and OC 1/24 and 23. I excluding beef jerky, cheap knives, laser pointers and all the other cheap crap, which venue would be best to buy ammo, Magpul and Hogue grips and such?

    TIA

Go early the first day and hit the Miwall booth.

Never been to the Ontario one.

But the OC blows. Usually all operator/tactical gear at MSRP or marked up MSRP. Gun sales suck because the few that are cheap you have to drive 10 hours to start the DROS and pick up the gun or have it transferred which kills the deal. Ammo is hit or miss. Never buy reloads. Only heard bad about gun show reloads.

Hardly any C&R or used items like there use to be.

It's basically a big Gun Expo than a gun show now.

            Thanks guys.

I'm looking for specific items (no firearms) so I'll look around and take it for what it's worth.

As a side note, I love to fish too and everyone know the big fishing show is the Fred Hall show in LB. Although every year there is more and more non-fishing crap that is still the place for killer deals if you know where to look.

OC is like 4 times larger (or more) than Ontario.

That's just sad. Ontario must be tiny.

You know, I never understood all the hate for the Crossroads of the west gun show. I mean......it's better than NO gunshow.

I get deals there. Hell, I just paid $160 for 1000 rounds of 9mm reloads a month ago at the Surefire Ammo booth. Out the door, no tax. Beat that. Got as good a deal on .38 and .45 the show prior to that. Already shot half and it's all performed flawlessly. Glock store has good deals...the one knife booth sells Kershaw blems at like 40% off. Cleaning supplies, Safe accessories, Like minded people.

I'd rather wade through the beef jerky, tshirts and chicom accessories to get what I want than not have the option of going at all.

OC is bigger ... You actually do find deals every now and then. Just remember.... You get better deals with cash

The Ontario gun show is pretty small compared to the OC show. The only upside\downside is you can get a 24oz bud light at the OC show for 14.00...

IMO, both are a waste of time and money.

Parking is way more expensive at Ontario than O.C. They close the lot early and never reopen it. At Ontario you would need to arrive very early to get one of the few free street parking spaces (very limited). Size wise Ontario is 1/4 or less the size of O.C.
