    Magazine question

What would be the maximum amount of rounds allowed in a fixed Ar-15 magazine? Or any fixed magazine on a rifle?

I believe it would still be 10 rounds. It might change if you legally owned the magazines before 2000 (think this was the year they banned them).

There is a thread that Librarian usually post that answers all magazine related questions but I don't have the link off hand. Try searching for it.

Found the link but I saw Librarian beat me to it.

      10 for a semiautomatic centerfire.

More than 10 creates a CA 'assault weapon' out of those.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
