    Over 10 round laws?

So I recently overheard from a stranger that you could own over 10rd capacity magazine for target practice only? Now I was skeptical and wasnt sure, because I always thought 10 rounds is maximum, but then again Im a noob. So please forgive me if im wrong.

So my question would be to clarify.

Is it illegal to own more than 10round capacity magazine?
Is the rule "for practice shooting only" true or bs?
I also overheard.. that you could order higher than 10rd magazines to California?

Feel free to correct what I overheard. Again forgive me for ima newb.

        1 - no

        2 - bs

3 - you can order such, but it's illegal to sell them into the state or to non-exempt people, and it's illegal for non-exempt people to buy them.
