So today i recieved a conversion cylinder for my remington 1858 and the first thing i noticed upon opening the box is the oddly smooth surface of the outside of the cylinder. Yup, it appears that someone completely skipped that part of the machining process, leaving my with a currenly unusable 270$ peperweight. I plan on calling the retailer tomorrow as it was a house brand product, but im wondering if anyone else has ever encountered such a problem? Just seems like something that would be difficult to overlook.

Spin cylinder pull trigger fast. Just kidding qc sucks now a days hope this gets worked out quick and nobody makes the mistake of putting cylinder in firearm and using it.Comment
