ATF eForms question

Hello,

I have a couple of outstanding Form1s to create AOWs with the ATF.

I logged in today to check the status, and they now say "APPROVED" in the box on the top left, instead of "Form 1".

Does this mean I can do a happy dance? How do they send me the tax stamps?

nope, they don't send you a physical tax stamp. you will get a PDF of the form 1 with a tax stamp image superimposed onto the form.

you should have received an email stating that your application was approved with a copy of the PDF as an attachment.

you should be able to click on the Form 1 you have highlighted and then go into the application. there will be a button to view form and you can download your approved form 1 from there. but you won't be mailed a "real" tax stamp.

what was the timeframe for an approval. I've been hearing 4-6 weeks right now.
