This might be a dupe, but still, a heads up for any FFLs able to hunt for bargains/rescues:
Gun buyback events will be held simultaneously in the Bay Area's hub cities Saturday morning with the aim of ridding residents of unwanted firearms and make a dent, however modest, into the gun violence that plagues city streets.
Gift cards will be exchanged for the weapons: $100 for each handgun, rifle or shotgun, and $200 for what officials deem to be assault weapons.
All of the events will start at 9 a.m. and be held at the following locations:
San Jose: PAL Stadium, 680 S. 34th St.
Oakland: Youth Uprising, 8711 MacArthur Blvd.
San Francisco: SFPD Southern Station, 1038 Howard St.
