Cartridge/Shotshell shot glasses

OK, so it is possible to get Winchester shotshell shot glasses but I kind of want something a little more cool and stuff. Basically, I am wondering if it is safe to use brass shotgun shells (unused!) as shot glasses or are there things that need to be done to it first (lining, etc?) Also, does anyone make shot glasses out of rifle shells (a la 50 BMG)? I wouldn't mind having a punt gun shell either, haha.

Any ideas would be rad!

IMO it would be unsafe due to lead and other heavy metal issues

I know it isn't exactly what you are looking for (since these aren't real shells) but my wife got me these a while ago. They are a fun conversation piece and I bring them out for shots every once in a while when my wife has some of her friends over.

A friend and I have done shots out of shotgun shells before. I believe they held about 2/3 of a normal shot but I'm not sure. I washed them out as thoroughly as I could, but they were probably still a little dirty.
