"Was on my way to Riflegear in Fountain Valley (where I had to bail since it was insanly crowded) and I saw a sign for new gun store."

Picked up my VP9 yesterday at RG. 1:15 was my earliest pick up time. Got there at 1:20. Pulled number 30. Looked at the wall, number 60. 70 people and 2 3/4 hrs later I heard my number! 3 minutes later I walked out the door.
Am glad SSE is over. RG and their $25.00 SSE fees pulled me in 6 times in 6 months. I always thought they should have an express pick up line. But thats just me. Not a bad shop at all. But I have always though they could utilize there resources much much better. 7 guys want to chew the fat on what AR to possibly get with the 7 at the counters, while 30+ people stand there waiting for a simple 3 minute pick up. Again, am glad its over. Am sure it was as tough on the employees as it was the customers.

"Turners needs a foot up their ***. " Agree. Did a PPT not long ago. The old Azz clown put the soon to be mine
mint 60 yr old K-22 Combat Masterpiece in his back pocket (with the butt hanging out, almost falling out)
and walked around looking for his paper work. Like it was a beat up
.38 special police trade in. I was mortified and corrected him. Twice!

OC armory, nice shop. Did one out of state SSE with them, but the $125.00 SSE fee put me off a bit.
Even if it did include DROS fees.

I wished it didnt end, but for now am glas SSE is over. Till the G43 comes out anyway........

I went to Big Shot Fountain Valley today and they seemed like they were in the process of expanding the space and inventory. They didn't have much in stock. I bought a cleaning rod for 9.99 and high tailed it out of there. I'll probably go back in a month or two to see when they have stock what the place is like.

Never understood the anger towards a store being busy, it must be for a reason. And with SSE and them being some of the pioneers they were certainly swamped for good reason.

I must have missed this thread......I was at the OC Gunshow yesterday......picked up two Anderson AR15 lowers to replace some old Plum Crazy lowers I built on years ago....2 for $100 from Quantico Tactical, can't beat that. I dros'd them over at the bigshot booth...didn't realize they had a store in Fountain Valley now. While I haven't been to the store yet......the booth was (and always has been) first class with a nice selection and good guys manning it. They got me out of their as soon as they could possibly could and I'll be looking forward to seeing their store when I go to pick up.
