I feel like this is the sort of question that should be asked prior to purchasing something.

It is brand new and I got it shipped in on a SSE transfer because it has a
      muzzle brake.

It sounded like it was on top I didn't disassemble it at the time.

I mean you don't have to disassemble it. Pull the slide back and shake it a little.

Possibly the barrel, I did pull the slide back and it still had a little rattle noise. Seven more days in jail to figure if there is a problem or if that's the way the
                beast is built.

The thing is made in Israel. You should be thankful the only problem, so far, is rattling. I hope you enjoy fixing or paying someone to fix your gun. But it's best

If you're really worried about it take it to a reputable gun smith and have him take a look.

Mine doesn't make any rattle noise when I shake it.

The only things I can think of that might rattle are two things. If there is a mag in gun, it actually "hangs" and is somewhat loose. This is intended by design to allow the proper feeding of the gun. An empty inserted mag WILL rattle around in there. If there was mag in the gun when you were handling it, that's probably where it was coming from.

The only other thing I can think of is the dual recoil springs on the base of the gun. Sometimes the end pieces do come out of their holding divots and those can make a tiny rattling noise if you shake the gun noticeably.

That's all I can think of honestly. I have the muzzle brake model myself and it's a fun boomy gun. Congratulations. Make sure to do a full tear down and lubricate the slide before taking it to the range, it will definitely run better for it.
