hi, i want to upgrade my AR15 trigger, what brand do you recommend and what type of trigger?

What will you be doing with your rifle...plinking,match shooting?
A Gieselle or Jewell are great ,although the Gieselle is the better trigger for my needs,they aren't cheap.Compass Lake makes a good trigger as does White Oak Armament.

How much can you spend?

If you want the best quality and performance, get an AR Gold.

If you can't shell out the cash for an AR Gold, the cheapest good trigger will be a Geissele G2S.

The G2S is hands down the best value in a 2 stage trigger right now. Feels just as good as any SSA or SSA-E that I own or have owned.

Lanbo's armory has them for $130ish when in stock.

^This. It is nearly indistinguishable from my SSA-E. The SSA-E is a slightly higher quality part, but not $100 nicer.

The SSA-E can regularly be had for around $180 at Lanbo's. So the price differential is only $50 when compared to the G2S there. I actually recently bought a SSA-E when I wasn't able to score the G2S during Giessele's BF sale.

Yeah, I cheaped out a bit on my .22 AR and "only" got the G2S and it's really a very nice trigger. The more expensive ones are a little nicer but the differences are very subtle.
