It's the same for any subject. Firearms just end up in the news more often.

Best to shrug it off and keep moving, they don't care.
So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.

Take half of a binocular, tape it to your rifle.

        Oldie, but still often true.

Because they all want to ban them. They don't care if they're right or wrong about terminology. However they know they're right about banning them...our rights mean absolutely nothing to them.

"A couple BB guns, an over under shotgun and a .22 rifle" doesnt get headlines like "cache of military assault riles".

By the time anyone points out it was just some junk, everyone has moved on

It always annoys me when I read a story in the paper or online that mentions a LEO using their "Service revolver".
