I mean it. He's done more in the last 6 years to get the complacent conservatives motivated than the last 3 decades' worth of "moderate" republicans. I've heard- and taken part in- more dialogue about the Constitution, the Second Amendment and the American political process in the last three years than during the prior 20 years.

That 177k in NICS checks is actually low as to actual sales. There are 35+/- states that don’t do background checks on sales to CCW holders. The FFL just records the CCW number instead of the NICS confirmation so there’s no record of the sale except in the FFL’s 4473 file.
