Walmart - price match denied

Tried to get Walmart to price match a 420 round can of 5.56 with Cheaper Than Dirt. the associate went and spoke to someone else and came back with "Walmart doesn't offer price matching on ammunition." I tried...

Yea I saw a 55gr 420 ammo can for like $179 at my local walmart yesterday... I was like wtf..

Their 750 for like $450


I thought I misread it but the sticker matched the ammo can.

Their little disclaimer statement in the whole Price Match thing states that they won't do it for ammo. I've tried too haha

The expensive can is the ZQI stuff, it was way overpriced before and they never adjusted the price of the can. The Federal can has been that price even before SH I believe.

Yup, it's cheaper to buy the 30rnd boxes at $10 each vs. the over priced can. I asked once if they would adjust the price of the can and they said no.

Its unfortunate that they have pricing errors and don't bother to correct them.

Working for Sams club a while back.

Just call corporate and the purchaser and have them correct the can and let them know of the error. The min wage pee ons aren't/can't do anything about it.
