    Cerakoting prep?

My wife wants to get her G26 Cerakoted. Either the slide or the frame.
If I take in one of these parts, should I have it completely disassembled first? Will they charge me to remove all the pins, springs, small bits that I'm not comfortable doing?
I can have a buddy do it no problem if need be. I'm not even sure if that stuff needs to be removed before the kote.

What about sights? It still has the stock sights. Do sights generally get Cerakoted in the process?

A local place is advertising $35 for either slide or frame. It would make a great Christmas gift for my wife. Just wondering if $35 would turn into $75 really quck with "service fees".

    Ask them
If you don't remove things, they will, yes, sights get removed
It's only a few minute job for them to remove all the parts from a slide.

I would completely disassemble it before sending it out.
Take pictures with your phone as you go.

        Complete disassemble looks better.
